Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2025  |  NoBull IT Solutions — Johnstown, PA

NoBull IT Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit nobull-it.com or contact us for IT services, how we use it, and how we protect it. We are based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and serve clients throughout Cambria and Somerset counties.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: When you fill out our contact form, call us, or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address or city, and a description of your technology issue or service request.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, our server logs standard information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and time of visit. This is standard web server logging behavior.

No sensitive data collected: We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial or identity information through our website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your service requests and schedule appointments
  • Provide IT support, repair, and consulting services
  • Send you quotes, invoices, and service-related communications
  • Follow up on completed work and honor our service guarantees
  • Improve our website and service offerings
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing our services.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service delivery: If we need to contact a hardware manufacturer or software vendor on your behalf to service a warranty, we may share your name and contact information with that vendor only as necessary.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfer: In the unlikely event of a sale or merger of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before any such transfer occurs.

4. Data Retention

We retain client contact information and service records for as long as the client relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and warranty purposes — typically seven years in line with standard business record retention practices.

Contact form submissions that do not result in a service engagement are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.

Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days.

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Contact form submissions are transmitted securely and stored on our business email system.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

When we provide on-site IT services, our technicians operate under a strict confidentiality policy. We do not access, copy, or retain any of your personal files, data, or documents beyond what is necessary to perform the requested service.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses session cookies that are necessary for basic functionality such as form submission. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics.

If we deploy Matomo analytics in the future, it will be self-hosted on our own infrastructure, will not share data with third parties, and will respect browser Do Not Track signals. This policy will be updated accordingly.

The Google Maps embed on our contact page is provided by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of any future marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11 below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites such as Google Maps and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
